Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Nauro software and the hosted service at nauro.ai. The open-source core carries its own license; hosted sync is offered on the terms set out below.
Last updated: 13 July 2026. By installing the software or using the hosted service you agree to these terms. If you are using Nauro on behalf of an organization, you agree on its behalf.
The open-source software
The Nauro command-line tool and core are released under the Apache License 2.0. Your rights to use, modify, and redistribute that software are governed by that license, which is included in the repository. Nothing on this page narrows the rights the license grants you for the open-source components.
The hosted service
The hosted service adds cloud sync and storage operated by us, available within the allowance shown on the pricing page. The service is generally available and is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis: we do not guarantee a specific uptime, there is no service-level agreement, and features may change. We do not keep a payment card on file and we do not use a third-party payment processor, so we hold no card data. The hosted allowance exists to prevent abuse, not to meter normal individual use. Contact support if you need a higher limit.
Acceptable use
Please do not abuse the hosted service: no attempts to break authentication or access another user's data, no automated load designed to degrade the service, no reselling hosted capacity as your own product, and nothing unlawful. We may suspend access that threatens the service or other users.
Your content
You own the decisions and project context you create. When you enable hosted sync, you grant us only the limited rights needed to store, transmit, and serve that context back to your account for the purpose of operating the service. A hosted project currently has one owner and no invite or shared-membership mechanism. We do not claim ownership of your content and we do not use it to train models. Your source code is never stored or transmitted by the hosted service. When you connect an AI tool you choose over remote MCP, your project context is delivered to that tool, and that tool's own policies then govern how it is handled; we do not control or monitor what it does with your context, so review its policies before connecting. You can request export or deletion of your hosted data as described in the privacy policy.
Disclaimers and liability
The software and the hosted service are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Nauro decision-checking surfaces relevant prior decisions; the judgment about whether to proceed always rests with you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes, termination, and contact
We may update these terms over time; we will post material changes here with a new date. You may stop using the service at any time, and you may ask us to close your hosted account by emailing [email protected]. Questions about these terms: [email protected].
